Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has praised UFC President Dana White for his weightloss after undergoing a strict ketogenic diet.
White decided to change his lifestyle after speaking to a human biologist. According to the 53-year-old, his bloodwork showed that he was given only another 10.4 years to live if he continued on his current path.
The UFC president vowed then and there to change his lifestyle and has since been on a strict keto diet for over 13 weeks. The results speak for themselves as Dana White has since revealed on multiple occasions that he has never felt better both mentally and physically.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, the cameras caught Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dana White bumping into each other backstage at UFC 280. In the video, ‘The Eagle’ joked that White has slimmed down enough to be a welterweight:
“Skinny guy! He don’t send me his diet. I need this. Before I was lightweight and you heavyweight, now I’m light heavyweight, he’s welterweight.”

Although he has dropped significant weight, Dana White has remained on the keto diet. According to the UFC president, he was surprised by how many different alternatives there are and suggested that anyone who’s interested in losing weight should try it.

Despite retiring in 2020, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s legacy is still growing in the UFC today. The former lightweight champion has since turned to coaching and UFC 280 has proved that his tutelge is already a major success.
