My Cholesterol Results After Eating A High Fat Low Carb Keto Diet For 1 Year | Trina Belcik

Hey, everyone. It's Trina Belcik from Life Family Food. Real life, casual keto. If you're new to my channel, make sure you
hit that subscribe button and ring the bell so you're notified when I post new videos
every week. In today's video, I'm gonna be sharing with
you my cholesterol lab results after eating a high fat low carb ketogenic diet for one
year. But before getting into the details, I do
want to point out that I an not saying that everyone living a ketogenic lifestyle will
have the same results as I did.

And you should always work closely with your
healthcare provider to assess what's best for you. With that said, I am a firm believer that
not all healthcare providers are the same and that you need to have a good working relationship
with your healthcare provider. And that they're open to discussions about
your health and will work with you to achieve your health goals. Now the ketogenic lifestyle is just that. It's a long-term lifestyle that benefits both
weight and overall health. My ketogenic journey started back in March
of last year. And I wasn't a dedicated ketonian at that
time. And I was actually still researching this
lifestyle way of eating. In April 2018, I started following a more
strict ketogenic lifestyle and I had my annual well visit back in May of 2018. The first six months of this lifestyle, I
was actually really strict with my macros. But I've since actually come to live more
a casual keto lifestyle and tracking less.

Now don't get me wrong. I still read the labels and I'm always aware
of what I'm putting into my body. I make sure to choose foods that are healthier
in fats, moderate in proteins, and very low on carbs. I eat a lot more vegetables and I try to work
out three to five days a week for at least 30 minutes at a time. I'm registered nurse, I'm not a doctor. And in this video, I'm providing you with
my personal results. I'm going to link a quick video by Dr. Berg
where he gives an overview of cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and your fat cells
if you have any questions on the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to cholesterol. It's a really good quick video to watch.

Now the moment of truth. These are my personal cholesterol lab results
for the past three years. The three results that I want to call out
are my HDL, which jumped from 47 to 58, my triglycerides, which went from 124 to 83,
and my cholesterol HDO ratio went from 3.4 to three. I have never felt better than I do today at
the age of 43 loving life and myself again. The ketogenic lifestyle has been amazing and
I am so glad that I took that leap of faith, did my research, and took my health back. I am worth it and so are you. If you're looking for some additional support
on your ketogenic journey, I have a free Facebook group called Real Life Casual Keto where we
provide support, share recipes, meal plans.

I'll place a link in the description if that's
something that you're interested in. Thank you so much for watching. And if you found this video to be helpful,
please give it a thumbs up and let me know in the comments. Take care and I'll talk to you again real
soon..
