All title, I’m gonna havemy very first keto meal. It’s the centre of the working day, I didn’t have breakfast so I guess you could say I’m intermittent fasting today as well. This is my meal now, beefchili with oaxaca cheese? Oaxaca? And cauliflower rice. To my surprise, the first few days of keto weren’t that bad. I wastotally is hoping that I would go with keto flusymptoms right off the at-bat. It wasn’t that bad, I didn’thave carbohydrate withdrawal. The weight stayed the same, my strength was there, but I’d tirednes much earlier in my laids. Can’t even be certain it’sto do with the keto diet, but that’s what was happening. Going into the second week of keto, I was starting to struggle a lot with my food preferences. When I go to work, and I’mgonna be working a long shift, I can’t fetching all ofthese goodies, an avocado, and all this nonsense. So, what did I do? Eating a diet that’s so high in fatty, I make 75 percent ofmy calories were coming from solid, it’s difficult to maintain that and I don’t propose well. For speciman, if I’m going to a big event, I should probably eat beforehand.You have to plan ahead ifyou wanna stick to keto. Because when you go to a fast food joint, or a restaurant, yes theymay have a piece of flesh, but feeing high-pitched protein is not keto. You “ve got to be” chewing high overweight. So you have to be thinking about what it is you’re gonna select off the menu. And you can get a cheeseburgerthat’s very fatty, has sauce on it that’shopefully carb free, that’s not optimal keto.That’s the nasty keto that people talk about. If you’re eating high saturatedfats, over cooked red meats, using handled petroleums, that’snot something I generally recommend or demand for myself.Wait!( police sirens) Two weeks in, I alreadyhad some arises evidencing. My robes were fittingbetter, my abs were coming out of hibernation, like one of them legit came out and said, “What up! ” And I was like, “Oh my idol gaze its my ab, I used to see you back in the day and then you started hibernating.” It make surprise me that after two weeks of keto, I was alreadystarting to see the outcome and now I get why this nutrition is so favourite amongst people who are tryingto lose weight abruptly. And not that I’m advocating for that, but it was nice to seeresults so early on, and fairly motivational.I will say though, themajority of the weight loss that happens in the first week or so is usually water weight. That’s not gonna be sustainable, that hasten of weight loss. I feel like on keto, Iwake up really hungry. Normally I don’t mind skipping breakfast, but on keto I’m starving. It’s probably because I’m eating so much less calories than normal. Getting into the later weeks of keto, I was getting hungry. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t satiated, I symbolize ingesting a lot offats, you get full quickly and you’re no longer hungry.But when I say hungry, Imean more like craves. Bananas, cookies and paste milkshakes, and then I even noticed apattern where I was hungry, simply because I was stood. I had a high solid meal, I hadsome sardines with guacamole. I’m full. But I wanna munch on something, I time wanna eat some chippings, so I’ve realized that I are happy to assumed munch. And on keto, you really can’t suffered devour. Unless you merely feed nuts all day, I don’t understand how many almonds you can eat in one day before you. I thoughts I broke keto. I signify not technically, but I had various alcohols last-place light that technicallythrows you out of keto. They is still not sugarydrinks, I precisely had soda and alcohol but that does technically take you out of ketosis atleast for a short while so “youre supposed to” conclude I’m a failure.Look, we all acquire mistakesand two steps forward with one step back, isstill one step forward. That’s something thatI want you to remember and take away from my keto wander. If you mess up, it’s notthe end of the world. It’s doesn’t mean that you’re a disappointment. Yes, I had a few imbibes and it made me out ofketosis for a little bit because your body actually metabolizes the alcohol and uses thatas energy instead of paunches. But, it’s fine. As soonas I stopped drinking the alcohol, the nextday I was probably back in ketosis and everythingwas back on track. So did it slow down my progress? Probably rather, but itwasn’t the end “of the worlds”. If I plowed it like itwas the end “of the worlds”, that would hurt my progress because that would demotivate me, and cause me to succession some cookies and ointment milkshakes and we know we can’t do that on keto. I had a renewed determination to continue and finish my keto jaunt.( upbeat music) One month of keto is in the books! I manufactured it, I snack 75 percentof my calories from fat, 20 percent from protein, 5 percentage from carbs.I stuck to this bad boy. But let’s talk summary, let’stalk about what the hell happened. First and foremost, torso. I started this diet at 208 pounds, I weighed in this morning at 202 pounds. So that’s a six poundweight loss in 4 weeks, sounds pretty appropriate, about a pound and a half per week. My abs are showing a little bit more, which comes me really excited for time. Now when it comes to my imagination, I don’t necessarily feel any bigdifference that startles out. But I do notice thatI don’t slam as much, especially in the midday area.
